QR spirit wear
PTO student shirt orders for families / staff closed 1/7
Approximately 30 shirts ordered including some for new students
1st place spirit wear site always open for orders
1/5 - 1/31 - Krispy Kreme doughnut sales 5th Grade Recognition Fundraiser
Seven orders so far
Bulk snack sales for 5th grade rec

1/16 - 2/14 - Charity Drive - KVC Kansas and Bert Nash Center Bag Drive
Duffel, gym bags, suitcases, drawstring bags accepted
Last day same as valentine’s parties so parents can bring in donations as they come in for class parties
2/4 - School Decorating for Valentine’s 12-4 pm
2/8 - Dine & Donate at Jason’s Deli 10 am - 8 pm
2/18 - School/Library Decorating for Book Fair 2:30 - 3:30 pm
2/22 - Dine & Donate at Chipotle 4 pm - 8 pm
2/23 - 2/29 Book Fair
Dive Into a Good Book theme
Will have a large selection of under $5 books/supplies offered
Sign up genius coming soon for volunteers
Student Poster Contest 1/26 - 2/13
Grade level coin drive 2/16 - 2/29, popcorn class party prize
2/29 - Pancake Feed
3/23 - Talent Show
Concern with date due to March Madness
New date - Sunday, April 7 from 3 to 5, with rehearsals starting at 10 am
Include penny wars for winners
5th grade recognition concession stand, possible dinner item
Stacie will follow up with West to confirm availability, space arrangements, etc
Quinn will co-host event, with West students who are Quail Alumni
Lil Q will be there
Stacie will put together a sign up genius
Parents / Kids Night Out
Polk checked with BGC and weekend nights are not available for BGC staff
PTO would like to check on availability for week nights
Maggie mentioned maybe aligning with a KU basketball game week night
Concern regarding need for insurance
Amy checked with LGA
Sunday nights beginning in mid Feb
$10 per kid with $5 going back to PTO
Cap at 40 kids for safety, would need advance sign-up
Could consider multiple dates, grade level groups

Jayhawk Gymnastics paired with Fields & Ivy / Dine & Donate. Possibly during warmer season as Fields & Ivy has great outdoor space.

Meeting Adjourn, next PTO meeting to be held on February 8th at Murf’s Grille, 6 pm.
Committees and Chairs expectations:
Each Committee has an assigned PTO co-chair liaison
All Committees must send representation and provide updates at Monthly PTO meetings.
All Committees must have regular communication/updates sent via email using Google Groups, which include PTO officers
All Committees with a budget must track expenses on Google Sheet provided by the PTO Treasurer. An email was sent to each committee with instructions on how to use the forms to report revenue and expenses, if you did not see an email please let us know.
