Winter Parties

Hello QR Families,

Your PTO is needing help to run Winter Parties next Thursday. We get it, it's the busiest time of year, that's why we've got it all planned out for you to run a 30 minute party and then you're done! See the party preview below.

We need at least 2 parent volunteers to run each class party. Currently, 7 classes have only 1 and 8 classes have 0!! *If you are unavailable on party day, sign up to prep the night before.

Don't wait, sign up HERE.

A big thanks from your Co-Chairs, Anna, Tom & Erika

Thank you so much for your participation and support. Together, we can make this Read-A-Thon an amazing experience for our young readers! Thank you, Quail Run Elementary PTO

Get Ready It's almost time for annual Read-A-Thon! Our Read-A-Thon will begin on Monday, October 7, 2024. One week from today we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page.  This is where you will be able to view and record your reader's progress.

We hope the Read-A-Thon encourages our students to read and enjoy books, while also fundraising for our fun PTO activities. Students will be rewarded for their efforts whether they fundraise, read, or both!

We hope EVERYONE participates! If you need help signing up your student next week, please let Stacie (stacie.ds.schroeder@gmail.com) know!

Thanks so much, Quail Run Elementary PTO

Fall Garden/Landscape Volunteer Day

Fall Volunteer Workday for the landscape/garden committee will be on Sunday, October 6th from 1-3pm. Kids are welcome, mine (7 and 4) will probably be joining too. Feel free to share with other QR families; many hands make light work, and there's a lot of it out there for us to do.

We will aim to:

-Clean out front kindergarten garden beds

-Clean out back garden beds

-Collect fallen hedge apples by garden area (safety hazard for walkers)

-Any landscape clean up needed by playgrounds, teacher's patio, entrances

Please bring:

-garden gloves, water bottle, shovel/hoe/rake directly.

Thanks for your help in keeping Quail Run safe and beautiful!
